BELPHEGOR: New Album Release Pushed Back A Week
December 29, 2004Austrian death/black metal act BELPHEGOR have had the European release date of their fifth full-length album, "The Goatreich - Fleshcult" (Napalm Records),pushed back a week to February 28, 2005.
The follow-up to last year's "Lucifer Incestus", "The Goatreich - Fleshcult" was recorded at Mastersound Studio in Fellbach, Germany and will be available in the following formats: the regular CD, LP (limited to 1,000 copies, and a limited-edition digipack version (5,000 copies) featuring the instrumental track "Heresy of Fire" as a bonus. Cover artwork duties will be handled by Austrian artist Ralph Manfreda, a "specialist for morbid blasphemy/ human-machine sculptures," according to a posting on the group's web site. "His artworks radiate coldness, are extreme and sinister."
